The fall of Tazoon has created chaos and confusion throughout the region. Many refugees have fled to camps and villages nearby, but some have yet to be found. At Lialione the Guardian's request you searched for Elsa Batos, the Manager of the Bank of Istaria. You found her ghost, but even as a spirit she is still concerned about the Vault and its contents.

<player>, what shall I do now? I am dead, but I am here as a ghost? I feel... urged. No... compelled! Yes, that is the word. I feel compelled to protect this vault and its contents from those who would steal it.
It contains gold and other wealth as well as my remains. I cannot let it just fall into the hands of thieves or scavengers, but how will I protect it? I am but a spirit, ephemeral.
The gold of the bank is safe! For now at least...
