Gaarius resides near the Stone Cenotaph. He provides the Master Stone Brick formula to those with 1200+ Stoneworking skill.

Gaarius tells you, 'Ahh... a voice! It has been too long since I have heard living voices. May I ask your name, friend? Greetings then, *name*, I am Gaarius, master stoneworker, at your service. I give thanks that the God of Strength has sustained me to see this day."
Gaarius tells you, 'Amusing, is it not, that a master stoneworker should be imprisoned in stone? Never doubt that the undead still have a sense of humor! Well, I found it funny. Laughter is important, and it kept me from going mad in this prison. Yes. That's what these statues are. Prisons. We four are the last masters of our crafts, slain years ago by Wraith Overlord Ludd. After we were slain, he found that he could not animate us and force us to help the Withered Aegis, as he had done to so many of our fellow master crafters. We endured, and he feared that we would still be able to pass on the knowledge we hold. He imprisoned our spirits within these cold stone statues and then shattered them."
Gaarius tells you, "Without master crafters, the greatest weapons, armor, and tools would be forever lost and the Living Races would be easier to conquer. That was Ludd's task. He had nearly succeeded when the Empire brought the other master crafters and I to Tazoon. The Eight Towers were creating the Ritual of Life Everlasting, and it fell to us to make the items the ritual required. Sadly, once it was completed, we found ourselves unchanged. None of the master crafters became Gifted. We went into hiding, trying to find students ready for our teachings, but Ludd found us first, and thus we came to be imprisoned."
Gaarius tells you, "Still we endured, and now that we are restored, we may yet pass our knowledge on! Take word to the Empire that we endure. Return with the Gifted who are ready to become master crafters. We will pass our knowledge on to those who are ready. Wind to your feet, *name*, and may the God of Strength sustain you as I have been sustained! Are you ready to receive my knowledge?"
