Yukon's ornaments were such a hit in previous years on the trees at Gnomekindle that now everyone wants some.
(NOTE: While this quest is active, you have a chance of getting ornaments from the metal golems that you fight. Different levels of metal golems will give you different colored ornaments.)

Yukon tells you, Yes, yes, stand and admire. It really is I, Yukon Cornelius, the greatest miner in all of Istaria. Precious metals are my specialty, in fact. Silver and gold. Nothing's more precious than silver and gold.
In fact, in past years my Gnomekindle Tree Ornaments were such a success that now everyone wants some! And others think they can make better ornaments!
Yukon tells you, Yes, you heard me right. Now everyone in Gnomekindle Town thinks they can make better ornaments than my shiny metal ones.
But I can tell that you agree with me. You think metal ornaments sparkling on the tree look best. So help me collect metal to make my ornaments, and I will reward you. You can keep any ornaments you find while gathering the chunks of metal!
Collecting the ore has proven to be a challenge, but you've faced it well..
Yukon tells you, So, you have the metal? Wonderful. And you found some ornaments of your own too, didn't you? All right, I confess. I hid some under the mining shed just for safe keeping. I didn't think anyone would harm them. It was supposed to be a harmless prank. But those golems--they liked the shiny color, I suppose. When I went to retrieve them, the whole box was gone. Just don't tell Mrs. Clause, please. She'd make Mayor Clause put me on the naughty list, and I really don't like coal.

Steps[edit]
- Talk to Yukon.
- Yukon has sent you out to gather chunks of metal ore from the golems of Istaria. He's promised a mysterious reward. Bring him back 50 chunks of metal for your reward.
- Take the ore back to Yukon so he can make his decorations.
