A caravan, led by infamous Ballin Todaesh, has broken down on the Bloody Tears. Stranded, the caravan has come under attack by nests of the aggressive Redden spiders. Caravan Master Ballin needs your help defending the caravan from these raiders.
Quest text[edit]
Ballin tells you, Saris! A sight for sore eyes, indeed. What brings you to this desolate stretch of ground? Surely you did not happen by us out of mere curiosity or happenstance? You did?
Ballin tells you, Well, I will not begrudge the gods for providence. As you can see, we have had a minor mishap with our wagon. *he chuckles, but there is little humor on his face* A jest, <player>, and not a good one I am afraid. We are stranded here until the wagon is fixed. Worse, we have drawn the interest, and ire, of the residents of this region...
Ballin tells you, The Redden Spiders, of course! Foul creatures, living amongst the bones and graves of those who fell decades ago fighting the Undead Horde. They are ravenous, for the pickings here are slim, and I fear they have marked my caravan as their next meal. Surely you will assist us?
He claps his hands.
Ballin tells you, You will? Thank you, <player>! The Redden have grown bold and we could use your help in pushing them back. They are Foragers, these Redden, so drive them back, let them see you doing it and, by Istara, they will approach more cautiously anon.
Ballin tells you, Yes, yes! Run you loathsome creatures, run! Ah, <player>, it is good to see the backs of those spiders and to see them scurry away from you in fear. Warms my heart, it does. Thank you for your assistance, I am sure we will have time to fix the wagons now.

- You accept to help Ballin
- Slay sixteen (16) Redden Foragers or Redden Watchers who are found near Ballin's Caravan
- Return to Ballin at his Caravan.
