The Than'kuk Tribes have begun pushing into the Winter Vale. Their expansion is threatening to cut off the supply lines of the Gnomian Outpost. Rane Ogglestorm needs your assistance in pushing them back out of the Vale.
Quest text[edit]
Rane tells you, Reaver, you are welcome to this lonely outpost. You are wondering why it is here, are you not? Well, it is simple. There, south, lies the blighted ruin of Rachival. My comrades and I came to ensure this valley was free of any influence of the Withered Aegis. And to try and establish a foothold into the northern territories.
Rane tells you, We have a slight problem, however. The road here passes through the Misted Forest from Morning Light and the Than'kuk Tribes are becoming more and more restless. Maybe you noticed? No matter. They are spreading into this Vale, <player>, and threatening to cut off all travel and even our supply lines, such as they are.
Rane tells you, I believe it is a simple matter of pushing them back towards the Misted Forest and away from the Vale. So, I would ask you to travel back to the lower vale and kill their scouts. Twelve of them should be more than sufficient, <player>. My thanks!

- Listen to Rane Ogglestorm
- Slow the Than'kuk expansion by killing twelve (12) Than'kuk Scouts in the lower Winter Vale
- Speak with Rane Ogglestorm at the Gnomian Outpost
