Niesa, once a famed Alchemist, has been enslaved by the Withered Aegis for many years. Your search for her, started by her former student and lover, Giltekh Framtor, led you to find her at the edge of the Eastern Deadlands. At Niesa's direction you recovered samples of the bond that has enslaved her for further study.

Dennison tells you, These are most foul, <player>.  I cannot abide their touch on my skin for long.  I suggest you do not hold them for long either.  Giltekh was right about one thing, these manacles do have both a magical and a spiritual component.  I would wager my reputation on it, and that is saying something! 

Dennison tells you, If it were magical I might have more luck, as my knowledge and skills lean that direction, but spiritual I can do nothing about.  Fortunately for you there are others who do possess the skills.  I suggest you take the bonds to Archbishop Tomas at the Clerical Tower.  If anyone in all of Istaria knows of the spiritual realm, it would surely be someone such as he.

Tomas tells you, Dennison sent you, did he?  On a matter regarding slave bonds created by the Withered Aegis?  *he shudders*  Certainly not the first attack on our souls that the Cabal has made.  May I see the bonds?

Tomas tells you, *he sniffs*  Yes, these are evil and they most certainly have a spiritual binding within.  I fear I have never seen anything such as these, <player>.

Tomas tells you, Do not fear!  All is not lost.  I have seen other items created by the Withered Aegis in my many years, some of which contained magic of a similar nature.  We treated them all the same, they must be Cleansed.
