Let us continue your training, <player>. An unbroken chain of teachers for thousands of years has preached this mantra, "the best defense is a good offense." Sometimes, however, a good defense is also one that contains a measure of offense. That is how it is with the spiked scales!
- What do you mean?
What I mean is that you can overcome your foes through sheer force, destroying them when they attack you. It is a most powerful defensive ability, one which will serve you well for many many years.
- What do you want me to do, BattleMaster?
I am not one to trifle with any but the most worthy... and you have not yet proven yourself worthy. You must fight tough enemies if you are to learn to be tough.
