Vladtmordt the Chronicler feels you have grown enough for further teaching about the Helian path and he is ready to forge you a new Scale of the Prime.
Quest text[edit]
Your interest in the Helian persists. I hope that you find their teachings to be enlightening to you. Now let's see what we can do about getting you a more appropriate scale to honor the Helian with. The next scale I have to offer will require a little more backing on your behalf. In addition to the base scale I will require several monster components if you are up to gathering them. Here is the list of my needs.
Fetch me an Iron Focus Chest Scale for starters. That will prove a fine base for the alterations I will perform. I also need some Ruxus Jagged Teeth; be careful they are still stay razor sharp even after once dead. You will find Ruxus in the Vandus March. Lastly, bring me eight Ulmus Beetle Pincers: these creatures roam among the elms on the Dalimond Peninsula.
Vladtmordt tells you, Good work, <player>. I will break these components down into powders which are rich in Primal Essence and fuse them into the Iron Focus Chest Scale. Give me about five minutes to do it.
Vladtmordt tells you, This is the Replica Scale of the Prime. Use it well and always honor the traditions and methods of the Helians that bore it before you!
Steps[edit]
- Speak to Vladtmordt the Chronicler
- Bring Vladtmordt the Chronicler the required resources to create a Replica Scale of the Prime
- Acquire an Iron Focus Chest Scale. You need to either craft it by yourself or trade it with a player/consigner
- Collect the Jagged Teeth from a Ruxus which are found in the forests of the Vandus March
- Collect seven (7) Pincers from Ulmus Beetles found in the Elm Forests on the Dalimond Peninsula
- Wait five (5) minutes for Vladtmordt the Chronicler to finish your scale.
- Return to Vladtmordt the Chronicler to collect the Replica Scale of the Prime
