There's been an attack on the barricades near the Imperial Army Camp. You helped Sergeant Andoraith care for the wounded and reinforce the defenses. Afterward, you assisted in the demoralization of the 2nd Troop of Welger that is camped outside of the South Gate of Tazoon. Couriers have been spotted on roads, perhaps in an attempt to rebuild the shattered ranks!

We have a problem, <player>. My scouts have spotted what appear to be couriers coming from Tazoon and delivering messages to each of the camps. It would appear that the welger are attempting to rebuild their shattered ranks and discipline.
We should kill the messengers!
Yes, we should! And you will! However, we should also attempt to take one alive... who knows what intelligence we could acquire from one of them. Information about the status of Tazoon itself! Or news about more troops coming through the portal!
Intelligence about the Welger would be useful!
It would, yes! So, waylay one of the couriers on the road and capture him! We'll be watching and will deliver him back to the camp once you have subdued him. Be careful, Welger are not prone to surrender.
Remember: you need to capture it, not kill it. Take this Capture Device: it will work when you have weakened your target enough.

This was tough. Welger prefer death rather than being captured: this one nearly slit his own neck with a small blade he had hidden and you barely managed to stop him to keep him alive.

Ah, the Saris of the hour! You have done well, <player>, capturing one of the Welger. We have tried more than once, but they nearly always fight to the death. Now we shall see what information we can glean from this one.
Steps[edit]
- Listen to Sergeant Andoraith
- Subdue a Varan Courier with the Capture Device on the roads south of the Tazoon South Gate
- Hit the Courier down to 20% health, then use the device.
- Bring back the Captured Courier to the Imperial Army soldiers near the barricade
- Speak with Sergeant Andoraith at the barricade below the Imperial Army Camp
- Speak with Lieutenant Elderincus at the Imperial Army Camp about the captured Welger
