Now that you created a defensive spell, it is time to test creating an offensive one.

Jaspine tells you, In your travels, you will certainly come to understand that not all spells are friendly! Some are quite dangerous. However, crafting the spells is much easier - and safer! - to do than casting them. Very rarely will a rune backfire on you, but if it does... well, I hope the Gift heals burn marks.
Jaspine tells you, Spells that burn are often associated with the Flame skill, which is an offensive skill. It's used by mages to take down any creature they point their finger at! I want you to go and craft yourself a Flame Bolt spell. I should have already given you the formula earlier with your equipment.
Jaspine tells you, Beautifully done, my dear. Be careful if you decide to cast it; it would be a shame if you caught somebody's chickens on fire!
Steps[edit]
- Speak with Jaspine.
- Craft one (1) Flame Bolt I spell.
- Return to Jaspine.
