Now that you understand crafting a spell, Kerian the Wise wants you to technique one.

Speak with Kerian the Wise.
Just like scales and claws, you can technique spells as well. The kinds of techniques you can put on them are very different from the others, however! While the others may empower your own ability to defend yourself or attack others, spells can only be imbued with power that takes effect once it is cast.

In this case, I will be asking you to technique the boon spell True Grit with the technique Fortify. This technique will give a bonus to your armor's effectiveness for a short while after you cast it, but it's not guaranteed - magic is a fickle mistress! I will allow you to remember how to technique and craft a spell on your own.

As you may have noticed, Fortify requires you to have a Bronze Golem Fragment. Those creatures, little one, are a bit out of your league for now. I will be kind and offer you a few fragments for free. In exchange, I need you to make me a few spells for my own stash. Remember, if you lose the fragment, you are going to have to repeat this task, so take care of it.
Craft three (3) True Grit spells techniqued with Fortify.
