Tell Allathos all that you have learned

Quest text[edit]

Spirit tells you, Begin at the beginning, <player>. Tell me what you have learned...

Spirit tells you, Incense and a prayer to a naka goddess? Well, I suppose it can't do any harm... From your description, it sounds like this is one human who knows his place in this world. For that reason, I'll indulge his suggestion. Did you learn anything else that might help?

Spirit tells you, This blue-skinned naka sounds even more arrogant than most, yet I feel his words have great truth in them. Why seek so much help from lesser beings? We are dragons! The naka-duskael know nothing of our ways, yet you seek their counsel instead of going to the greatest of our kind? How could you place the words of these lesser creatures above the wisdom of the Sleeping Dragon?

Spirit tells you, What do you mean, 'gone'? The Sleeper cannot be gone - she is eternal! No force in this world... I see...

Why have the humans not been punished for this blasphemy? Unbelievable...

And this 'Rift', you are able to travel there? Then perhaps all is not lost. Go there, please, and seek the wisdom of the Sleeper in this matter. She is the embodiment of every ideal our people revere; she will know what to do.

Sleeper tells you, Hello, <player>. It is agreeable to see you again, though I see you are troubled. What brings you to me this day?

Sleeper tells you, Allathos? Allathos... Now that's a name I have not heard in a very long time. She used to sit on a ledge next to me and tell me of the places she had been visiting, all the wonders she and Nelthorr had found. I loved to hear her stories... So, tell me one last story about her. Tell me how you came to meet her, and why that meeting has brought you to me.

Sleeper tells you, A sad tale indeed, <player>, but still I thank you for sharing it with me. As for the ability she spoke of, I believe she is referring to Rite of Unmaking. I have no idea how it would come to be called Drulkar's Wrath, but I do like that name better. I do know it, but alas, I cannot pass it to you. Separated as I am from Istaria, I simply do not have the power this teaching would require. That is no matter, however. Allathos can give you the teaching herself if she can but focus on the here and the now. You must do something to bring her mind to you.

There is a dwarf in Aughundell renowned for his knowledge of ancient Dwarven history, Gulnor the Elder. Perhaps he will have the answers you need....

Sleeper tells you, There is no spell keeping the spirit of Allathos from moving on. No magic at all. It is grief and rage and sadness that bind her. They chain her to the past, to the moment of her death, and while her mind is there, she cannot focus enough to teach you. You must free her from the prison she built for herself by doing that which she cannot. You must avenge her. How to do this I do not know, but that is your answer.

You said that it was dwarves who murdered her; go to them, and learn how they remember that dark day. Say nothing of your purpose, for cunning and misdirection are vital in matters of vengeance. Wind to your wings, <player>, and may Drulkar's flames light your way.

Gulnor tells you, Greetings, dragon. What brings you to Aughundell today? A history lesson? Well, I will assist you as best I can. What is it you wish to learn about?

Gulnor tells you, I... see. You have come for the tales of the fire demon, and of Grathmar. It will be my pleasure to tell these tales, but I would ask you to remember that the ancient times are not ours, and that both sides of a tale may be true. Speak to me again when you are ready to hear of the Hammer of Kings and the Axe of Dorogath.
