The orders stolen from a Priest of Nazderon spoke of a "source" of the Plague. You found a strange glowing rock at the dig site surrounded by Cult Incubators. They were killed, but you still have not found a way to stop the plague.

Teana tells you, I have given this stone some thought and I believe our only solution is to destroy it. If this energy is being used to create the plague, then without the stone there is no plague.
I will return and destroy it!
Teana tells you, Wait, <player>. I fear the composition you have described would make it impervious to your normal weapons and magic. What we need is something stronger and I believe I know just the tool!

Teana tells you, Speak with Versanto in New Rachival about a tool he has called an explosive. If it is as powerful as I have heard, then it will surely be capable of destroying the stone.
Versanto tells you, <player>, what brings you to my door? Be quick with your explanation, for I am quite busy and cannot spare much time for idle chit-chat.

Formed into a brick and then set with a small device called a timer, it releases a staggering amount of energy and will destroy nearly everything in its blast range.
