Theed tells you, So you wish to try to find the owner of the ring? A most honorable decision indeed. I believe I saw a description of a ring much like this one on a sign in Kion outside Lady Kendra's shop.
Kendra tells you, Oh! That's the ring I lost some time ago, I had wondered what became of it. I dropped it while fleeing one of those vile skeletons... wherever did you come across it?
Kendra tells you, Of course! Thank you so much for returning it to me. Give my regards to Theed as well.
Theed tells you, Speaking personally, it is good to hear of a young dragon with enough moral fabric to return the ring.

- Return the ring to Kendra with the ring. Lady Kendra lives in the city of Kion. She normally is at work on the rooftop of her shop.
- Return to Theed and share Kendra's message of thanks with him. He will give you the tapered emerald you need.
