Quest text[edit]

Sadie tells you, Welcome back, <player>. I'm sure you've noticed already, but as a brand new Scout, Warrior - anything! - you gained knowledge of quite a few stances. I'm sure they're a bit much to take in, so I'll try to be simple. Stances are fighting styles - passive effects that give you a boost in certain aspects of combat. Being Alerted makes you attack faster, while Focused can help you hit more often.

  • Which should I use?

Sadie tells you, There is no one true answer to that. It is up to what you feel is best. However, some abilities have different effects while in different stances. You should now know the ability Heart Seeker. Heart Seeker is a very powerful ability that does double the damage of your other arrows and will never miss. You can improve it even further by using Focused Stance.

Sadie tells you, I want you to use Focused Stance and Heart Seeker on the Wriggling Masses nearby the Lookout Camp. You might've passed them as you were heading to the Agh'kuk Scouts last time.

You have used Focus Stance! Now use Heart Seeker and go kill those Maggots.

That's enough maggots. Probably for a lifetime, honestly.

Sadie tells you, Enjoy the masses? They're probably the worst thing on this island, besides the undead. They give me the heeby jeebies. Anyway, they're a nice big target to practice important skills on, and that's all I can ask for!
